The Fair Field Foundation was founded in 2022 by Margarita de Guzman to address the lack of support for women in the archaeology field in North America. Alongside a dedicated team of Founding Directors, the Foundation has created events, networking, and mentorship opportunities to support and celebrate women and marginalized folks in archaeology.
