Holly Martelle is the Founder, Owner and Principal Archaeologist at Timmins Martelle Heritage Consultants Inc. (TMHC), a heritage consulting firm based in London, Ontario. She is a former President of the Ontario Archaeological Society. Although trained as an archaeologist, Holly’s passion is public outreach, community engagement, and historical story telling. In 2018, she worked with a great team of collaborators and editors to publish The Ward Uncovered: The Archaeology of Everyday Life, a compilation of histories surrounding the archaeological excavation of a working-class neighbourhood in downtown Toronto.
