Laurence is a Québec archaeologist juggling academia and CRM archaeology. She loves theory, fieldwork, soil and dirt, maps, photogrammetry, and connecting with people through archaeology, notably through teaching at Université Laval. Laurence holds a BA in Archaeology from Université Laval, an MPhil in Archaeological Research on the British the Iron Age from the University of Cambridge, and is writing her PhD on Chalcolithic Bulgaria discarding practices. She has been working as a professional archaeologist since 2012 across the province, first as a field technician and then as a project manager since 2019.
